Victoria Centre is a multi-cultural community centre.
Since its opening in 1979, Victoria Centre has served all sections of the town's diverse population with facilities and groups for older people, young people, black and minority ethnic groups, arts groups and more.
The centre has been at the heart of any of the developments that have made Wellingborough what it is today - one of the most racially mixed towns of its size in the county. It formed the platform from which Wellingborough African-Caribbean Association and Wellingborough Hindu Association were both launched before they eventually moved to their own premises in the town.
The Castle Arts complex has its origins in the music and drama projects at the centre. Today Victoria Centre continues to provide activities for the whole community.
